Joseph M. Demko School

Imagine a world where learning and play intertwine seamlessly, where every day is an exciting journey of discovery. Welcome to Joseph M. Demko School in St. Albert, AB, where education goes beyond the classroom walls. Step into our nature-inspired playground, a magical realm designed for young explorers aged 5-12. Once kids experience it, they won’t want to leave!

Picture this: your little explorer scaling realistic rock-climbing walls, conquering the daring Infinity High Climb, or zooming down the exhilarating Double Wide Slide. They’ll also be captivated by the wonderous Leaf Roofs and Lola the Snail spring rider, bringing nature’s beauty right to their fingertips! If that’s not enough, treehouse activity panels set the stage for pretend play.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! This playground is a hub of creativity and physical development, perfectly complementing the school’s outstanding STEAM and fine arts programs. Watch as your child’s problem-solving skills soar on the Tilted Rock Challenge Wall. Or, watch as their teamwork flourishes during a heart-pounding game of Lava Tag on our circuit of overhead climbers.

Aside of the play structure, this playground is filled with a ton of fun freestanding events. This includes the Raft Rider, where kids can catch imaginary waves with a buddy. Or, for groups of three, they can rock out on the Tri-Totter instead. For children in wheelchairs, we’ve also included the Revolution Spinner, designed at an accessible transfer height.

At Joseph M. Demko School, we believe in nurturing every aspect of your child’s growth. From our cutting-edge K-9 education to our vibrant PE program, we’re committed to helping your child reach new heights – both on and off the playground. Ready to give your child the gift of adventure and education? Enroll them now and let the journey begin!
