Anchors aweigh! Centennial Park is the perfect place to relax after a day on one of Alberta’s most popular lakes (Sylvan Lake). By far, this playground’s centrepiece has to be our monumental SkyBuilders Tower. At nearly 30 ft. tall, this tower takes play to new heights! Plus, its lighthouse theme and coastal colours perfectly suits its lakeside location.
On the outskirts of the tower, there’s a myriad of climbers that will appeal to multiple challenge levels. This ranges from the bright colours of our Cylinder Climber, to the realistic texture of our Fun Rock. Inside the tower, kids can peer out of our Bubble Windows, or compete at a multitude of activity panels!
The nautical theme carries over to the tot structure, where there’s a variety of Ship Panels to enjoy. Kids can pretend to be a pirate hunting for treasure, or a sailor taking on the Bering Sea. Below deck, kids can also relax at a pair of benches. But first, they’ll have to tackle our challenging Cargo Net climber!
Centennial Park also features a whopping EIGHT slides! Multi-user slides (like our Colossus Slide) offer plenty of opportunities for racing. On the other hand, tall tunnel slides (like our Morphous Slide) provide an exhilarating experience like no other. If that’s not enough, younger kids will love the fast and bumpy ride of our Wave Slide.
When it comes to accessibility, Centennial Park has an entire area dedicated to inclusive equipment. An Accelerator Swing and Revolution Spinner offer motion play for all, while a Tot Builders Playhouse is jam-packed with sensory activities. Elsewhere in the park, there’s a variety of reach panels, inclusive swings, and accessible instruments that will keep kids entertained.

“Took the kid and she had a blast. Water was clear and the beach was pretty clean. Really nice playground steps away from the beach. The lake front has really developed and there was a lively feel to it.”D LouGoogle
