École Centennial Park Elementary

Buoy oh buoy! The playground at Centennial Park Elementary School is knot too shabby. Featuring an inclusive ship glider, sailors of all abilities will be able to hit the Bering Sea. Or, they can stay on shore and enjoy the nature-inspired climbers.

Sail away to fun at École Centennial Park Elementary, a stunning mix of natural and nautical!

At École Centennial Park Elementary in Abbotsford, BC, we’ve transformed your standard playground into a natural wonderland. Imagine your child’s face lighting up as they gaze at the wide array of natural and rustic equipment. Each twist and turn uncovers an immersive experience that encourages learning and development. But, that’s not to say that this playground isn’t tons of fun, too!

The first thing you’ll notice at this playground is its theming, which is a unique combination of natural and nautical. Every piece of gear, from our mighty Double Wall Climber to our dizzying Stand n Spin, whispers tales of adventures to be embarked upon. The best example of this is our Rock’N Ship Glider, which lets kids of all abilities sail the Bering sea!

Toddlers will enjoy the various activity panels and ground-level components. Many activity panels, like our Simon Says and Melody Maker panels, are also accessible to wheelchair users. If that’s not enough, kids can engage in meaningful pretend play with our Steel Counter Panel. Imagine you’re a shopkeeper selling goods, or a chef serving guests – the choice is yours!

But what about older adventurers? Fear not! For them, we’ve installed challenging components like overheads and deck-to-deck climbers. Most notably, this includes the realistic textures of our Nu-Edge Rock Wall and Lumberjack Climber. There are also plenty of opportunities for active motion play, such as a pair of Track Ride ziplines, which are great for racing.

Lastly, we’ve carefully designed each feature of École Centennial Park Elementary to be inclusive and accessible. A wheelchair ramp off the main structure allows every kid to join the fun, while our Revolution Spinner brings motion play to all. In addition, our Roller Slide provides an engaging tactile experience that can’t be found anywhere else.
